CHR Staff:

Giany Guedjo -Executive Director:

Giany Guedjo is the Executive Director of Carolina Human Reinvestment (CHR). He is originally from Benin, Africa, and moved to the United States in 2009. He officially became a US citizen in December 2014.  Giany has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and a Master’s Degree in Organizational Management, which he received in Benin; however, he also earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Webster University in 2011. He recently completed the Georgetown Leadership Forum (Class 25) and is currently enrolled in the Waccamaw American Leadership Forum (Class 5).Giany has been involved in the nonprofit sector for over 13 years, which includes 5 years as Executive Director of CHR.

Allyson Banta -Program Director:

Allyson Banta graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication Studies, as well as a minor in Psychology.  She has over 5 years of teaching experience ranging from elementary to high school levels.  She also has experience in marketing and public relations, as the previous Director of Distribution for GS Magazine in Myrtle Beach.  As Program Director, Allyson oversees and is directly involved with all facets of the recruitment and implementation of the EBP workshops that support our current programs  She is also regularly involved in increasing community awareness, as well as strengthening current partnerships with CHR and developing new partnerships within and around Georgetown and Horry County.

Delvan Lee Ford -Outreach Coordinator:

Delvan Ford graduated from Virginia Intermont College a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Musical Studies, as well as a minor in English.  He joined the US Military for (8) years and now has over 17 years of Youth Leadership experience ranging from a Youth Pastor, Multi Affiliated Youth Events, Outreach, and Work Service Missions.  He also has worked with the Susan B. Komen Foundational work.  As Youth Services Director, Delvan oversees  the recruitment and implementation of the Amachi programs  Delvan works his relational magic all about Georgetown and Horry Counties.
